Arnhemland Barramundi Nature Lodge Awarded Australia’s Best Fishing Experience.

 
In 2008, the prestigious international travel industry magazine, Travelling In Australia, judged the Northern Territory’s Arnhemland Barrramundi Nature Lodge to be Australia’s Best Fishing Experience.

An international panel of Premier Aussie Specialists recently served as judges for the inaugural Travelling in Australia Magazine 20 Best Experiences Awards.

Nominations from all states were put forward by various tourism bodies, and judging was online in total secrecy. Media Release.

The Brolga Awards

The Arnhemland Barramundi Nature Lodge was entered for Northern Territory Brolga Awards in 2005 and 2006. In both years, the lodge won awards. However due to high visitation at the lodge during the months when applications are prepared, the Lodge has not been entered recently. 

In 2005, The Arnhemland Barramundi Nature Lodge not only took out the Brolga Award in the hotly-contested Adventure Tourism section, but also won the  Chairman's Choice Award for the most outstanding 2005 Brolga Award Entrant for having achieved all-round business excellence. Media release.

Again in 2006 the Lodge took out the prestigious award for Adventure Tourism at the Northern Territory Brolga Awards For Tourism Excellence. Media release.
