Dining At The Lodge

Escarpment deckYour days will begin with your choice of a traditional Australian cooked (bacon, eggs sausages, tomato & toast served with a variety of condiments) or continental breakfast (cereals, fruit, fruit juices, full cream or skim milk), which you may enjoy in our main dining area or on the escarpment balcony so you can absorb the early morning panorama of the river valley below. Tea & coffee facilities are available in the dining area.

Dining areaLunches are pre packed picnic lunches prepared by our chef & stored fresh on ice until lunch time.

Pre dinner snacks are served at the bar on your return to the lodge in the afternoon. Here you can enjoy a refreshing ice cold drink while savouring delicious barra bites or other delicacies while the chef prepares your dinner.

Your two-course dinner prepared by our master chef, Tasty pre-dinner snackswill be served in the main lodge’s dining area or on the escarpment balcony. The chef specialises in preparing fresh caught fish & mud crabs, caught by our guests, in addition to his delicious array of regular recipes. The main lodge area is fully screened, with inside dining for 16 plus a comfortable lounge area. Both the dining room & balcony are serviced by overhead fans.

The Barramundi Bar is located on the patio together with additional outdoor seating & dining for up to 24. The bar is stocked with a selection of quality beer, wine & soft drinks which are complimentary. Should you require spirits, premium beer or your own preferred wine selection, please make prior arrangement when confirming your booking. We will order your beverages & have them dispatched to the lodge prior to your arrival once your order has been paid for.
